I have terrible foot pain lately. Not everyday, walk-it-off pain, but real crippling pain in my feet, ankles and heels. I work in a restaurant, and just got new orthopedic shoes with arch support, but I have flat feet. Could this be the problem? I also have a defect in my feet that I was born with, so pain has always been an issue, I just don’t know why it has gotten so unbearable. How can i prevent it without taking too much medicine?

I’m not sold on the idea of putting high arches in shoes for people who have flat feet. I was made a special pair of insoles to put in my shoes and they hurt more because of that then they did before. Then I found out how to release the muscles under my feet and since then I got rid of the insoles and my feet feel great. Taking care of the muscles will do more to help you than anything. Then you have the heel pain and that happens when the tendon for your calf muscle tightens up pulling up on the foot to cause the pain there and pulls the foot up into the ankle to make pain there as well. Here’s how you can release those muscles and tendons to get rid of the pains:
Foot Muscle:
With your foot in your lap place your fingers side by side at the back of the arch right in front of the heel and press in hard and hold. After 30 seconds slowly raise your toes up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your toes there for another 30 seconds.
Achilles tendon:
While sitting and your leg on your lap, take both thumbs and place them side by side at about ankle height on the tendon on the back of your leg and apply pressure hard and hold. After 30 seconds slowly raise your toes up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your foot there for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
well I am absolutely no doctor but my brother had similar symptoms a few years ago, my mom took him to the doctor and they gave him these rubber things (it starts with an L but I can NOT spell it at all) to put in his shoes, and now hes fine.
any possibility you can answer mine? this pain/feeling is really uncomfortable http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…
Your problem is all about flat feets so use you orthopedic shoes every time.
